In March 2007, I along with Katie Williams and Caroline Long, read, "Sex and the Soul of a Woman." The book impressed us so much, we felt the need to share it on a large scale with our entire community of women. The author, Paula Rinehart, was the main speaker and we created the events of the day around her topic. Clike here to read the articles in the local newspaper. I thought the day was superb—worth it entirely for the testimonys on video (brilliant move) and the coming together of black and white Christians. I picked up such concern on the part of older women for younger women and such gratefulness that someone/anyone was doing a day such as this. Truly, there was more work that went into that day than anything of its ilk I’ve seen and I am praying that God will return it to you and Caroline and the women in the valley many times over.
I think the whole thing was a God moment! It was a blessing to see sisters from so many different places working together. I can't wait for the next one! :) Dawn Daly-Mack
From Jeanette, Thank you Barbara, everyone had a wonderful time fellowshipping together for christ. I personally was overwhelm with joy because community churches connected in unison,can you imagine how Jesus was smiling.

Barbara I would like to thank you for allowing me to be a part of such an awesome move of God. I pray that the Lord will continue to open door for you and for women like you to help those that need to hear from him. Yes I believe the Lord used you and those with you to speak to the hurting, the broken, and the confused. I encountered some personally on 3/17/07 that could not speak words to me just a hug and a thank you.
